SONIC'S REALATY CHAPTER 3

CHAPTER 3: BETRAYAL

"So, Sonic is being held captive at this base?"
"Yes, Master Reala." The two land in front of the base. "Ok. Now, I have new orders for you."
"Yes, Master Reala?"
"Hogtie yourself." He throws duct tape at NiGHTS. NiGHTS' mouth drops.
"What?"
"You heard me."
"How is this going to help save Sonic?"
"It won't. I just want you out of my way."
"But what about the deal?"
"You're my slave, and I gave you an order."
"Yes, Master Reala." NiGHTS slowly follows orders using her powers. "Good. Gag yourself." The tape slowly rises up. A piece rips off and covers the purple jester's mouth. "Good, good." Reala walks up to her and grabs her slave collar. It glows red for a second. "Now, it will zap you when you use your powers." NiGHTS just bows her head. Reala puts a hand on her collar and she glows red and disappears.

Sonic sighs in his dungeon cell. Eggman had decided to play around with his "favorite prisoner" a bit before killing him off. In other words, Sonic had nearly been drowned… several times. "I hope NiGHTS doesn't try to rescue me. She'll end up just as bad. This security system is intense. I'd be able to get through, but NiGHTS isn't a super cool, awesome hedgehog who can run faster than the speed of sound. The lasers would zap her and she'd fall into the pit. Even if she got past it, she'd be stopped by the guard robot."
"You forgot the cameras and robot armies that she'd have to destroy."
"Oh yeah. Thanks, Reala… wait… REALA? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???"
"Shut up! I'm here to get you out of here. This is embarrassing. I'm actually doing something good. I can't believe I'm helping you."
"Ok…"
"Come on." They go through a hallway already completely destroyed and littered with robot parts. There are several gunshots in the walls too. "Whoa. Looks like Shadow went on a rampage…"
"He's busy with Master Wizeman. Come on. We'd better head back to my base."
"Why would I…"
"NiGHTS was worried about you."
"Ok. Let's go. Try to keep up!" A sonic boom echoes as Sonic breaks the sound barrier. "This is why I'm glad I can teleport." In a flash of red light, Reala appears at his base. Sonic runs up a second later. "WHOA! YOU BEAT ME!!!"
"Yep. I'm faster than you." Reala bangs on the door and the servants let them in. "Is the hedgehog your guest, my lord?"
"Yes. Where's NiGHTS?"
"In her room."
"Which room was it?"
"Cell 37D."
"Good." Reala flies off, Sonic behind him.
