DESTROY BUILD DESTROY, NiGHTS

NOTE: Contains spoilers for Sonic and the Black Knight

Andrew WK: I'm Andrew WK and this is Destroy, Build, Destroy! Let's meet our teams today! We have a little sibling rivalry today. Our competitors are the two nightmaren NiGHTS and Reala! Now today our teams are a little different. Each side got to call in their own team of Builders, but since Eggman tried to destroy Sonic and lost all of his robot builders while failing, Team Reala and Eggman will be working with our own team of builders. Team NiGHTS consists of NiGHTS and two friends, Milynn and Sonih. Their builders are Sonic The Hedgehog, Tails, and Amy Rose. Today, we'll be building go-carts. Now, they must be able to compete in a race and must be powered without magic.
Reala: Darn it!
Milynn: Would someone pushing it count?
Andrew: Yes, Sonic can push it.
Sonic: Why do I have to do the heavy work?
Reala: This is completely unfair! You are totally biased against us!
Milynn: Aww. Is little baby Reala crying because he picked Eggman to be his mommy?
Team NiGHTS and Andrew: *laughing*
Reala: Grr! I'LL GET YOU FOR THAT!
Andrew: And you'll get your chance. Reala, since you won the coin toss between you and Dr. Egghead…
Eggman: It's Eggman!
Andrew: Whatever. So you get three setbacks whenever you want them. The only condition is that only one affects the whole team, the other two must affect only one member each. The winners get five chaos emeralds. For your challenge, you will be destroying these two racecars! Now, since this is a very special episode of Destroy, Build, Destroy, we are going to give both teams four choices each to destroy the other team's car. Team NiGHTS, either you can use TNT, this land mine planted under it, or the third option.
Sonih: The land mine sounds good, but what's number three?
Andrew: Get Milynn mad and give her a sledgehammer.
Team NiGHTS: *look at each other* Number three.
Andrew: Ok. Now, Team Reala you have three options…
Sonih: Is throwing the big talking egg here at the car one of Reala's choices?
Eggman: HEY!!!
Andrew: Actually, yes. The others are a rocket launcher, or one of Shadow's guns.
Reala: Rocket launcher.
Eggman: Hey!!! I'm a part of this team too!!!
Reala: Oh fine! Egghead, what do you want to do?
Eggman: One of Shadow's guns… and I'll fire it!
Andrew: Ok. You don't get a new gun or get to reload it... Here's a machine gun.
*Everyone runs for shelter but Sonic*
Sonih: SONIC!!! Get in here!!!
Sonic: Hey Eggy! You're too slow to hit me with that gun!!!
Eggman: OH YEAH? I'LL SHOW YOU!!! *fires repeatedly at Sonic*
Sonic:*Runs to Eggman's car and in front of it. Eggman repeatedly hits his car. The gun runs dry* You're too slow!
Reala: Can I use one to make it fair?
Andrew: Yeah… here's a pistol…
Reala: Thanks for the generosity… *goes up to Team NiGHTS' car and fires at the front. The engine explodes. The gun runs dry after ten shots.* That's all I need. Thanks.
Tails: Hey, where's Milynn?
Andrew: We've been getting her mad… Everyone into the bomb shelter!!! *They all run into a sealed room with a window.* This window is actually bulletproof... I hope it's enough… *Presses a button on a remote Milynn comes out roaring with a giant sledgehammer.* *Note: The actual destruction is not described for your own good and sanity…*
Andrew: Ok… never make Milynn that mad EVER AGAIN! Now… 3…2…1… BUILD!!!
*Eggman runs off to start building, but collapses with exhastion after five yards.*
Reala: Oh Team NiGHTS! I want my first setback now!
Andrew: Ok. You want to set back the team at the start of the game. Good idea.
Milynn: Excuse me?
Andrew: No, you can't skip out.
Milynn: Grr!
Reala: Ok, so I want them all in a boat on the ocean with their hands tied, other than the team leader… I want to make sure that she won't get out so easily…
*In a few minutes*
Sonic: Get me off of this thing!!!
Sonih: I would, but my hands are tied!
Milynn: Same here!
Sonic: Where's NiGHTS?
*They look around but see no sign of her*
Amy: Look! *Points at metal nails at bottom of boat and hammers them out NiGHTS flies up*
NiGHTS: Thanks for saving me… Reala decided that it was a good idea to chain me to the bottom of the boat with a gag that removed all my powers.
Amy: Sure, now untie us.
*NiGHTS unties them and they teleport away*
Tails: Ok, we've lost some time, but we should be able to make it up.
Milynn: Reala's going to try something else, so someone should guard NiGHTS.
Sonic: I'll do it.
Tails: I need you to help me out here
Sonih: I'll do it. Milynn, you should stay and help with the cart. *Shape shifts into NiGHTS*
Reala: Oh, so you're back? My second setback is for NiGHTS.
Sonih: Yes?
Reala: You have to swear eternal loyalty to someone; someone who has rank enough to be able to accept it, so your friends don't count.
Sonih: How about the Knight of the Wind?
Reala: No. Nice try, though.
Sonih: King Arthur; the one that wields the sacred sword Caliburn?
Reala: Sure, why not?
Sonih: You guys keep on working, I'll be back in a minute.
Reala: As someone's slave for all eternity!
NiGHTS: Sonih, you don't have to do this; I can always step in and…
Sonih: What? Swear eternal loyalty to Wizeman? No. I'll do it.
Reala: She'll do it here; now, I must go summon him.
The air glows red and Sonic is sucked into a vortex and deposited in front of Reala.
Sonic: You could have just asked if I would come over and walk the five steps.
Reala: YOU!!!
Sonih: And you already agreed to it so you can't back down now!
Reala: Fine, but you'll still be his eternal slave.
Sonih: I know.
Reala: Good!
Sonic: Ok, so what am I supposed to do?
Sonih: I don't know; make me a knight or something?
Sonic: Whatever.
Reala: I know who you really are, NiGHTS. I have a special setback for you. Play the part you played against us on them.
NiGHTS: What?
Reala: You're on our team now.
NiGHTS: WHAT? No way!
Reala: You don't have a choice! It's my setback!
NiGHTS: Andrew, is Reala allowed to do that?
Andrew: Yes, but it none of the effects last after the show.
Reala: WHAT???
NiGHTS: At least that's good.
Reala: Well, you're on our team now! *Grabs NiGHTS by the arm and drags her to the other side*
*Sonic and Sonih come back*
Sonih: Why is NiGHTS on the other team?
Milynn: What? That's ridiculous! NiGHTS wouldn't betray us and join the other team!
Amy: Reala dragged NiGHTS off to join his team as the third setback.
Sonic: How come you didn't even know that let alone try to stop Reala?
Milynn: Err… Well…
Tails: You see…
Amy: They were too busy kissing.
Sonih and Sonic: Of course.
Reala: CALL SHADOW!!!
NiGHTS: I don't know how!
Reala: CALL SHADOW OR I'LL KILL YOU!!!
NiGHTS: Like I said before, I don't know how!
Reala: GRR! THAT'S IT!!! *Throttles NiGHTS* I WILL KEEP ON DOING THIS UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD OR UNTIL SHADOW SHOWS UP!!!
Sonih: *whispering* All hail Shadow. Heroes rise again, obliterating everything that's not your friend. Nothing can stop you now. No ghost can bring you down. When there's nothing left to lose, you win.
*Shadow comes*
Shadow: Yes?
Reala: NOW, WILL YOU CALL SHADOW???
NiGHTS: I DON'T KNOW HOW!!!
Reala: THEN DIE!!!
Sonih: You can guess why I called you… basically, NiGHTS was forced to join Reala's team for the show.
Shadow: *Goes over to NiGHTS* You called me, NiGHTS?
Reala: *releases NiGHTS* There, now that wasn't so hard, was it?
NiGHTS: But… I didn't call you… you never told me how…
Shadow: Really? I could have sworn I heard you calling me.
*NiGHTS glances at Team NiGHTS. Sonih winks and NiGHTS quickly looks away. *
Reala: You are on our side now, Shadow. You are going to push our go-cart so we can win the race.
Shadow: …ok…
Eggman: Good. The cart is finally done. We'll win for sure. We'll sabotage their cart!
Tails: We're done!
Amy: That's good, but how will we be able to beat them? They'll destroy our cart!
Sonih: Leave that to me.
Amy: I can't believe that traitor! Why are we calling ourselves "Team NiGHTS"? We should change it to Team Sonic.
Milynn: …well… I guess you're right…
Tails: Yeah!
Sonic: Ok…
*They look at Eggman's team*
Sonic: Why is Shadow there? I know that I heard Reala yelling at NiGHTS to call him, but I didn't think that NiGHTS knew how. Either I was wrong, or we have a traitor in our midst.
Tails: It wasn't me! I don't know how.
Amy: Ditto
Milynn: I would have done it to save NiGHTS' life, but I don't know how…
Sonih: …
Sonic: Sonih…
Sonih: Ok, ok, fine! I did it!
Sonic: SONIH!!! I can't believe that you would do something like that! We're going to lose now because of you!!! Why did you do it?
Sonih: It was-
Sonic: Did you think that it would be fun to be a traitor? I cannot even begin to imagine why you would think that!
Sonih: I did it to save NiGHTS' life!
Sonic: Do you really think that… wait what?
Sonih: You heard me. I did it to save NiGHTS' life. Reala was going to kill NiGHTS if she didn't call Shadow and NiGHTS didn't know how.
Sonic: Oh… well, I guess it was ok then… but we'll still lose!
Sonih: No, we won't!
Milynn: How did you do it?
Sonih:  I sang the chorus of "All Hail Shadow"…
Sonic: …of course…
Andrew: Ok! Time is up! Stop building and get ready to race! The object of this race is for each cart to transport the team to the goal. Now, there is a catch. While the whole team is able get on the cart, only one person is allowed to get off each lap. Let's check out our vehicles!
Tails: Well, we built the Blue Tornado. It is designed for Sonic to run inside a covered area so that he can be protected. It can transport the whole team at once in its covered cockpit, steered only by Sonic.
Andrew. Very nice, Team NiGHTS.
Sonic: Actually, we decided to change our team name to Team Sonic instead after NiGHTS decided to join the other team.
NiGHTS: I didn't have a choice!
Amy: Right. You are such a traitor!
NiGHTS: ………
Sonic: Hey! NiGHTS really didn't have a choice!
Amy: Why are you defending NiGHTS so much? Is she your girlfriend?
Sonic: Well…
Amy: You've got to be kidding me!
Sonic: Well…
NiGHTS: Oh yeah… we never really broke up…
Reala: GRR! I DON'T BELIEVE THIS!!!! NiGHTS DATED YOU!!! NiGHTS WOULD HAVE TO BE AN IDIOT TO EVEN LIKE YOU!!!
Amy: HEY! WE LIKE SONIC!
Sonic: JUST BECAUSE YOUR LOVE AFFAIR WITH NiGHTS ENDED UP IN FLAMES, DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN CRITICIZE ME FOR DOING BETTER!!!
Milynn: W…what? NiGHTS… dated Reala???
Tails: NiGHTS… is Sonic's girlfriend???
Andrew: Ok, moving along. Team Reala and Egghead, what did you create?
Eggman: We built the Egggo that our whole team can be on, and Shadow can pull from those chains.
Reala: Those were for Shadow? I thought they were for NiGHTS.
NiGHTS: Hey!
Eggman: No. The chains on the inside are for NiGHTS.
NiGHTS: I don't believe this! I'm on your team; remember?
Reala: Maybe, but the only way that you will behave is if you are a prisoner, or someone is being threatened.
NiGHTS: Run, Shadow!
*Eggman grabs Shadow and puts him in the chains*
Eggman: Now, the only way for you to be free again is if you win the race. I'll even let you keep a Chaos Emerald.
Andrew: Get ready!
Reala: *Grabs NiGHTS and drags NiGHTS to chains inside and chains NiGHTS to the wall and gags NiGHTS* Don't even bother trying to get out. You're powerless and helpless.
NiGHTS: Mmph! *Struggles*
*Reala laughs and everyone else gets in*
Sonic: Sonih! Get in!
Sonih: I'll stay on top of the glass.
Sonic: Sonih, they'll kill you up there!
Sonih: I'll be fine.
*The others get in and Sonih gets on top. *
Andrew: On your mark… Get set… GO!!!
*Guns come out of the Egggo*
Eggman: Any last words?
Sonih: Yes. CHAOS SPEAR!!! *Destroys guns* CHAOS SPEAR!!! *Destroys Shadow's chains*
Sonic: Whoa!
Eggman: Didn't see that coming.
Shadow: Way to go!
Sonih: Thanks.
Sonic: Nice job
Sonih: Thanks
Sonic: How did you learn to do that? I know that I didn't teach you…
Sonih: Shadow taught me.
Sonic: Looks like that came in handy.
Andrew: Ok, you win by default.
*Eggman steals a chaos emerald*
Andrew: Wait, why are there only four?
Reala: *Grabs NiGHTS and flies away with NiGHTS* You'll never catch me!
Sonic: *jumps up and punches Reala* You were saying?
Reala: Well just try and get NiGHTS!
Sonic: *spin-dashes and frees NiGHTS*
Reala: Noooo!
Milynn: *Laughs like a maniac* Looks like it's my lucky day… I get to beat up Reala!
